This was our dinner last night:

I wanted to make something that everyone could eat that was fun, fresh and appetizing. Onefish, bluefish and I love almost everything you see there (the turkey rolls have avocado and mozzarella inside them). Twofish, who is only 14 months old, can’t get enough of hummus and fresh fruit so she was covered with this spread. Also, that fresh garlic bread was amazing. I’m embarrassed to say it wasn’t from scratch (or even from my bread maker), but the fresh garlic butter-sauce was all mine. It was quite a hit with everyone, and everything but a couple baby carrots were gone when I carried the tray back into the kitchen.

Just wanted to say that I’m IN LOVE with everything you’ve posted so far. I’ve got my cousin’s kids for four days, and they’ve been stuck with tasty food that lacks any semblance of presentation. I need to start studying up on this!
Fancy schmancy! That all looks so good, and so cute!

Check out this vid on You Tube. So cool! We must discuss your talent…I want to try this so bad.
Maybe we can do a weekend this fall?

Thank you DE & Laurie! Kathy – that video is too much fun. Some of that stuff is out of this world!
How European! You just need some small glasses of Italian spritz (1/3 Prosecco, 1/3 sparkling water, 1/3 Campari or Aperol) or a French apertif, and voila, you have apero hour.
